Edwin Allen (1892-1915)


Edwin Allen, child of Mr and Mrs Edwin Allen, sibling of Mark was born in 1892.  Lived at Oak Glen Sandbanks Road Parkstone, in Poole.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 12308) as a Private in the 5th Bn. Dorsetshire Regiment.  Died on Aug 21 1915 at the age of 23 in Turkey (Gallipoli).  A memorial for Edwin Allen can be found at Helles Turkey in Turkey.
