Reginald Baker (1896-1917)


Reginald Baker, child of Joseph C and Sarah Baker was born in 1896.  Lived at Flag Farm Parkstone, in Poole.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 6608) as a Lance Corporal in the Hampshire Regiment of the Army.  Died on Feb 3 1917 at the age of 21 in Mesopotamia (present day Iraq).  Buried at Amara War Cemetery XVIII J1 in Amara in Iraq.  Their name features in the Ashley Road Methodist Church Roll of Honour 1914-1918 in United Kingdom.
