William Barnes (1889-1917)

William Barnes, child of William and Jane Barnes was born in 1889.  Married Maggie Barnes andLived in Poole.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 110853) as a Gunner in the 241st Siege Bty. Royal Garrison Artillery of the Army.  Died on Apr 21 1917 at the age of 28.  Buried in Arras in Pas de Calais.  A memorial for William Barnes can be found at Plymouth Memorial in United Kingdom.
