Samuel George Pascoe Bowman (1885-1917)


Samuel George Pascoe Bowman, child of James and Mary Bowman, sibling of Edward, Elizabeth, Roslie, Eva, Lily, Ethel, Charles was born in 1885.  Lived at Lake Road Hamworthy, in Poole.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 588) as a Private in the 35th Btn B Coy of the Australian Imperial .  Died on Oct 4 1917 at the age of 32 in Belgium.  Buried at no known grave.  A memorial for Samuel George Pascoe Bowman can be found at Panel 7-17-23-25-27-29-31 Menin Gate Ypres in Belgium.  Their name features in the Hamworthy War Memorial in United Kingdom.
