Frank Wilfred Brackstone


Frank Wilfred Brackstone, sibling of Frederick, Robert, Herbert.  Lived at 78 Albert Road Parkstone, in Poole.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 3592) as a Private in the 1st/4th Battalion of the Dorsetshire Regiment.  Died on Jul 17 1916 in Mesopotamia.  Buried at Basra War Cemetery, VI X 13 in Basra in Iraq.  A memorial for Frank Wilfred Brackstone can be found at St Johns Heatherlands Church, Parkstone, 1914-1918 War Memorial. in United Kingdom.
