Arthur William Cherrett (1883-1917)


Arthur William Cherrett, child of George Cherrett was born in 1883.  Married Charlotte Annie Cherrett andLived at 4 Mentone Cottage, King's Road, in Poole.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 17760) as a Private in the 2nd Dorset Regiment.  Died on Mar 25 1917 at the age of 34 in Mesopotamia present day Iraq.  A memorial for Arthur William Cherrett can be found at Basra War Memorial in Mesopotamia present day Iraq.
