Archibald George Thorne (1888-1917)


Archibald George Thorne, child of Maria Thorne was born in 1888.  Married Florence Jane Thorne (nee Carratt) andLived at 19 Burrard Road, in West Hampstead.   Fought in WW1 as a Able Seaman (attached to S S Narragansett (Greenock)) of the Mercantile Marine .  Died on Mar 16 1917 at the age of 29.  A memorial for Archibald George Thorne can be found at Pier 3 Face H Col D Tower Hill Memorial in England.
