Arthur George Brown (1899-1915)


Arthur George Brown, child of Albert George and Ellen Brown was born in 1899.  Lived at Sunnyside Garland Road, in Poole.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 2999) as a Private in the 1st/9th Bn. formerly 1st/7th Bn. Hampshire Regiment.  Died on Nov 9 1915 at the age of 16.  Buried at Plot 2 grave 88 Meerut Cantonment Cemetery in Lekha Nagar in India.  A memorial for Arthur George Brown can be found in India.
