Sidney Percy Hordle (1894-1916)


Sidney Percy Hordle, child of Arthur and Lucy Hordle was born in 1894.  Lived at 87 Salterns Road Parkstone, in Poole.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 16373) as a Private in the 6th Bn Dorsetshire Regiment.  Died on Sep 4 1916 at the age of 22.  A memorial for Sidney Percy Hordle can be found at Thiepval Memorial Pier and Face 7B in France.
