William Alfred Rudge (1888-1917)

William Alfred Rudge, child of Bessie Rudge and the late William Alfred Rudge, sibling of Frederick John was born in 1888.  Lived at 3 Mount Street, in Poole.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# RMA/11024) as a Gunner in the Royal Marine Artillery (attached to HMS Vanguard).  Died on Jul 9 1917 at the age of 29 in Jutland.  A memorial for William Alfred Rudge can be found at Panel 27 Portsmouth Naval Memorial.
