Leslie Louis Sampson (1898-1917)


Leslie Louis Sampson, child of John Henry and Sanpson was born in 1898.  Lived at Cintra Uppleby Road , in Poole.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 35964) as a Private in the East Surrey Regiment 1st Bn.  Died on Nov 6 1917 at the age of 19.  Buried at XX1.GG. !8A Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery.  Their name features in the Poole Grammar School Roll of Honour 1914-1918.
