Percy Short (1895-1917)


Percy Short, child of John and Annie Short was born in 1895.  Lived at 8 Railway Cottages Hamworthy Junction, in Poole.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 331080) as a Rifleman in the 1st/8th Bn. Hampshire Regiment.  Died on Apr 21 1917 at the age of 22 in Israel and Palestine.  Buried at A.116. Deir El Bel Ah War Cemetery in Israel and Palestine.  A memorial for Percy Short can be found in United Kingdom.
