Bert Munden (1887-1916)


Bert Munden, child of Mr R and Mrs E Munden was born in 1887.  Lived at 6 Pile Court, in Poole.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# SS/104979 (RFR/PO/B/5208)) as a Stoker 1st Class in the HMS Black Prince of the Navy.  Died on May 31 1916 at the age of 29.  A memorial for Bert Munden can be found at Portsmouth Naval Memorial in England.
