George Victor Squires (1887-1918)


George Victor Squires, child of George and Victorine Squires was born in 1887.  Married Marion Jane Squires andLived at Sandwood 33 Parkstone Avenue, in Poole.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 87491) as a Gunner (attached to 75th Coy., Royal Garrison Artillery).  Died on Jul 17 1918 at the age of 31 in Burma.  Buried at Rangoon War Cemetry, 4. G. 11. in Rangoon in Burma.  A memorial for George Victor Squires can be found at St. Johns Heatherlands Church Parkstone,1914-1918 War Memorial in United Kingdom.
