Fred Douglas Baker (1898-1916)

Fred Douglas Baker, child of William George and Alice Mary Baker was born in 1898.  Lived at 3 Ponsonby Terrace Chapel Road Parkstone, in Poole.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 201846) as a Private in the Hampshire Regiment 1st/4th Bn of the Army.  Died on Apr 24 1916 at the age of 18 in Mesopotamia (present day Iraq).  A memorial for Fred Douglas Baker can be found at Basra Memorail Panel 21 and 63 in Iraq.
