John Laws Carter (1896-1918)


John Laws Carter, child of James and Alice Carter, sibling of George Carter was born in 1896.  Lived at Station Yard, in Broadstone.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 26746) as a Private in the Wiltshire Regiment 1st Bn.  Died on Apr 10 1918 at the age of 22 in France.  A memorial for John Laws Carter can be found at Panel 8 Ploegsteert Memorial in France.
