Hugh Francis Clough (1888-1917)


Hugh Francis Clough, child of Hugh C B and Constance Clough was born in 1888.  Lived at Kingston Parkstone, in Poole.   Fought in WW1 as a Lieutenant in the Queen's Own (Royal West Kent Regiment) 4th Bn.  Died on Mar 14 1917 at the age of 29 in Mesopotamia (present day Iraq).  A memorial for Hugh Francis Clough can be found at Panel 29 Basra Memeorial in Iraq.
